Steve Duman, CEO and owner of Hot Shots Sports, embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in the early 2000s. Steve has always had a passion for sports and working with youth, finding joy in watching kids develop and grow both on and off the court. His commitment to giving back to the community is evident in his dedication to making people better and the immense satisfaction he derives from coaching and witnessing the development of their skills.
Steve's educational background includes a degree from Boston University. An athlete throughout his life, he grew up in Denver, where he actively participated in various sports. Steve's coaching experience spans middle school and high school levels, where he coached basketball, softball, and baseball.
After graduating from college, Steve spent time in New York, where he initially ran his business before relocating it to Chicago. Now residing in Chicago, he focuses on continuing to grow the business and ensuring its success. Despite his busy schedule, Steve enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and has a keen interest in traveling. His journey from developing and coaching to leading a thriving business reflects his dedication and passion for both sports and community development.

As the president and COO of Hot Shots Sports, Steve Daly is a dynamic leader committed to driving the organization’s success through innovation on both the coaching and business sides. A veteran coach at Hot Shots Sports, he continually seeks out new ways to teach the fundamentals of the game while ensuring that classes remain lively and enjoyable.
Steve is a six-time varsity letter winner in baseball and basketball, having served as team captain and contributing to a state championship team. He continued his basketball career at Kenyon College, where he graduated early with a B.A. in Behavioral Sociology.
In junior high, Steve showcased his athletic versatility by participating in seven sports, including lacrosse, track, hockey, soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. As a coach, he is passionate about helping players understand not only the skills they are developing but also the reasons behind their importance for success. His goal is to instill in players an understanding of both the mental and physical aspects of the game, fostering a drive that motivates them to show up ready to work.

Anna brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Vice President. Growing up in Door County, Wisconsin, Anna was fortunate to play three sports at the varsity level: volleyball, basketball, and softball. After high school, she pursued her college education at Illinois Tech, where she continued her passion for basketball while studying. Not only did she excel on the court, but she also became involved in coaching as a student assistant coach and later as an assistant basketball coach after graduating.
In 2010, Anna joined Hot Shots Sports as a coach, eventually transitioning to a full-time role in 2012. Over the years, she has made significant contributions to the company, particularly in her role as the director of the Storm girls basketball program. Her leadership has been instrumental in the program's growth and success. Anna plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of Hot Shots Sports, overseeing program planning, staffing, and staff management. Her dedication and hard work have been pivotal in the company's expansion into new locations and the development of existing ones.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her son, Landon, at the beach and pool. She shares her home with two beloved dogs, Payton and Mack. In her free time, Anna stays active by playing softball, indulging in reading and puzzles, and cherishing visits with family in Door County. Anna's passion for sports, combined with her leadership skills and commitment to excellence, make her an invaluable member of the Hot Shots Sports team. Her dedication to providing quality sports programs for children reflects her belief in the positive impact sports can have on young lives.

Sam Olbur, hailing from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, serves as the Director of Operations for Hot Shots Sports, overseeing the North and West Regions. A proud graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Sam is passionate about providing exceptional sports classes and curriculums to kids across the Northwest suburbs.
Driven by his professional goal to expand and enhance the regions under his purview, Sam is dedicated to fostering a love of sports and learning in every child. His leadership skills are evident in the team of outstanding coaches he has assembled, ensuring that every child receives top-notch instruction and support.
Outside of work, Sam's love for sports extends to watching and discussing games, particularly those of his favorite teams: the Cubs, Bears, and Fighting Illini. He holds a special admiration for soccer legend Lionel Messi. Sam's dedication to excellence and his passion for sports make him an invaluable asset to the Hot Shots Sports team.

Nick Rojo, our Senior Head Coach, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role. Before joining the company, Nick served five years in the Marines, where he developed strong leadership and organizational skills. He has been a vital part of Hot Shots Sports for over 15 years, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success.
A devoted family man, Nick has two children and enjoys spending most of his time with them and his family. His favorite sports to watch and play are football and baseball, passions that trace back to his high school days when he played both sports. Nick is also an avid fan of the Lakers and Raiders, and he is known for calling into sports radio stations to share his opinions on local sports, making his voice a familiar one in the sports community.
Nick's greatest satisfaction comes from witnessing the progression and growth of kids through sports. His commitment to helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence is a testament to his dedication to both his profession and the community.

Rob has been a vital member of the Hot Shots Sports team since 2015, where he primarily coaches Baseball, Golf, and Tot multi-sport programs. Growing up in Florida, Rob developed a deep love for baseball before relocating to Chicago to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater. After graduating from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, he found his passion for coaching youth sports.
Rob is dedicated to enriching the lives of his participants, striving to create an enjoyable and supportive environment in every program he leads. He appreciates the opportunity to bring his expertise to the community he works in, ensuring that every child has a positive and engaging experience. His unique background in the arts allows him to infuse creativity and enthusiasm into his coaching, making sports fun for all ages. Eddie Hartnett has been an integral part of the Hot Shots Sports team since 2019, serving as the Director of Programming for the Chicagoland Suburbs. He also holds leadership roles as the Co-Director of Storm Girls Basketball and Director of Glencoe Fire Boys Basketball. Eddie brings 18 years of coaching experience, having started with Niles North Boys Feeder Basketball in 2006 and later coaching Evanston Girls and Boys Feeder Basketball, Concordia University Men's Basketball, and Rochelle Zell Jewish High School Boys Basketball.
Eddie holds an MBA in Sports Management from Concordia University, earned in 2016, and a B.A. in Mass Communication from Illinois State University, where he graduated in 2008. His diverse coaching background spans various age groups and competitive levels, and he is dedicated to fostering skill development and personal growth in every athlete he works with.
Outside of work, Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters, Nicole and Danielle. He also loves playing basketball, golf, lifting weights, and crushing his friends in fantasy sports. With a background in competitive basketball, baseball, and football, Patrick applies his knowledge to streamline processes and improve program efficiency.
As a former coach who led a High School Freshman basketball team to a 19-1 record, Patrick understands both the administrative and athletic sides of sports management. His education, which includes courses in coaching and biomechanics, informs his leadership style, helping young athletes excel both on and off the field.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys collecting sports memorabilia and playing video games, maintaining a strong connection to his love for sports. His blend of operations expertise and coaching experience makes him a valuable asset in managing athletic programs.

With a degree in education, Felicia's experience as a teacher has honed her skills in guiding and inspiring children.
