Players continue build off the fundamentals learned in the 101 program such as passing the ball, offensive moves, defensive moves, keeping/controlling the ball and taking the ball away from the opposing team. Players begin technical work on skill manuevers and how to utilize all surfaces of the foot, as well as work in space and receive the ball. First touch is a priority, and how to work off other players to ensure spacing is consistent. Physical endurance and fitness are emphasized while touching the ball. At this age, the focus starts to change from simple games to organized, tactical, competitive games.
