Travel Teams

If you enjoy the competition of travel volleyball and love the game now is your chance to put your skills to the test! Chicago Flames Volleyball is designed to promote and support competitive volleyball teams, enhance and improve players' skills, and foster a positive environment of sportsmanship and teamwork. Tryouts are held prior to the season and team selection is based on ability, attitude and desire.

Players will compete in Regional tournaments and all travel will be same day, so no overnight trips will occur during the season. For families looking to truly improve their child's skill set and volleyball foundation without the commitment to a national travel schedule, Chicago Flames VC is the perfect program for you.

Storm Basketball is designed to promote and support competitive basketball teams, enhance and improve players' skills, and foster a positive environment of sportsmanship and teamwork. Tryouts are held prior to the season and team selection is based on ability, attitude and desire. Winter New Trier Feeder Program: Storm Basketball and Winter New Trier Girl's Feeder are working together to field teams for the Feeder program. This co-sponsored team will allow girl's to play for their community while still being a part of the New Trier Feeder program. The 4th grade teams will play in the Metro League. The 5th & 6th grade teams will play in the Northern Illinois Girls Feeder Basketball Association (NIGFBA). Practice and Games: All teams will practice two times per week. Practices will emphasize skill development and team play. All teams will play between 20+ games which will include tournaments and league play. Tournaments are relatively local with travel time typically one hour and not exceeding two hours. Travel Team Fee: Team fee is $635 plus an additional $150 gear package fee. Payment is required within 48 hours of roster being posted to reserve your spot on the team. No refunds will be issued after payment is received.

This program is designed for competitive players seeking a challenging environment to help advance their skills and game play. Tryouts are held prior to the season and team selection is based on ability, attitude, and desire. To reserve a tryout spot, participants must register at no cost through the Glencoe Park District.

These clinics are designed for the competitive basketball player looking to advance and learn new skills in the off-season. Instruction will focus on advancing ball handling skills, offensive moves, and proper shooting footwork
